Then, one of three things happens. 

1) They think that Real Estate is easy, and when they find out how much time, effort, ongoing education & drive it takes to reach the top.... they drop like leaves in the fall.

Or

2) They continue to try without really putting forth the energy needed and become seasoned "Part -Timers" !

Or

3)  They not only realize, understand and are prepared to take the actions necessary to make it to the top of their chosen profession, but fall in love with their career & become "Superstars!"
